Addresses aesthetics, consumption, mass culture, fashion, melodrama, technology, psychology, and nihilism. Includes works by Baudelaire, Zola, Braddon, Boucicault, Turgenev, Manet, Degas, Daumier, and Klimt. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 12 units.
