Prerequisites: graduate standing

Description: Discusses the recent development of novel biocatalysts and biological materials for degrading toxic pollutants or synthesizing environmentally friendly chemicals. Students who present a seminar receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable.
