Description: A description of Andean culture history, emphasizing Peru, from the earliest documentation of human occupation to the Spanish conquest of the Inca. Topics include origins of food production, early ceremonial architecture, Paracas textiles, the Nasca lines, Moche iconography and ritual, and Inca architecture. Discussion of major sites and their architecture, ceramics, sculpture, and other archaeological remains.
