The Urban Studies minor is an adaptation of a well-developed interdisciplinary focus on ur- ban concepts, issues, and problems in order to offer the chance for increased understanding of urban processes. The minor also provides preparation leading to increased employment opportunities at the municipal, state, or feder- al level, or to graduate work in one of several areas related to urban studies.
