Description: Explores human culture and civilization along the 4,000-mile Silk Road through physical and human geographies and considers the major civilizations that developed in East and Central Asia. Discusses the clash and blending of different cultures by surveying economic and cultural commerce, the spread of three major religions, and art in the eastern sections.
