Description: An overview of meditative traditions of South Asia that influenced global meditative practices. Investigates and compares distinctive traditions and their global political implications. Topics include the meaning and purpose of meditation, the influence of religious traditions, and the political implications of mediation. Includes regular practice of meditative and contemplative techniques
