Description: Examines major critical developments, interventions, and issues in Asian American cultural critique and theory. Charts the historical development of the field of Asian American literary and cultural studies. Interrogates the contexts and constraints of the field’s institutional formation and recognition. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 12 units.
