Description: Covers topics in applied microeconomics as they relate to the music industry. Explores questions related to consumption, pricing and price discrimination, market structure and competition, technological change, labor supply of musicians, superstar markets, uncertainty and portfolio theory, and human capital. Also addresses behavioral economics topics including preference formation and durability.
