Prerequisites: upper-division standing or consent of instructor

Description: An introduction to research in Statistics. Requires a research project completed under the supervision of a Statistics faculty member or a group of faculty members. Students who make an oral presentation of the research project or submit a written research report receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable as research topic changes to a maximum of 8 units.
