Description: An astronomy course for non-science students. The excitement of an evolving and sometimes violent universe of stars and galaxies is explored in a descriptive manner. Here, the union of modern and ancient observations with astrophysical laws will provide a sophisticated but by no means complete picture of the universe. Special topics such as Astrology and Extraterrestrial Life will be discussed.
