Prerequisites: MCS 001 with a grade of C- or better
Description: Introduces media ecology theory and history. Explores key topics, concepts, and issues at the upper-division level. Develops methods for thinking about contemporary media ecology, examining objects such as smart cities, animal technologies, and the media saturated planet. Outside class assignments include readings and conducting individual research and writing projects.
