Description: Explores the major concepts, categories, methodological approaches, and historiographical issues in recent scholarship on the Archaic and Classical Greek world (circa 1200-300 BCE). Focuses on interregional and interdisciplinary analysis. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 12 units.
