Prerequisites: graduate standing
Description: A study of climate change in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, extending from Precambrian glacigenic sediments to modern glaciers. Utilizes field evidence to access the controls of climate and determine the resolution and limitations of the physical record. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeatable as topics change to a maximum of 8 units.
