Description: Quantitative study of the chemistry of the solid, liquid, and gas phases in soils and sediments. Topics include solid and solution speciation, mineral solubility, ion exchange and adsorption reactions, oxidation- reduction, and the chemistry of organic contaminants and toxic trace elements in soils.
