Prerequisites: graduate standing Reviews current research

Description: Special emphasis is placed on biological techniques for air pollution control, bioremediation of methyl tert-butyl ether, and molecular techniques for microorganism monitoring. Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a letter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or examination. Course is repeatable.
