Description: A study of the structures and conditions of our lived experience of the world. Explores the major issues, the methodology, and the historical development of the phenomenological tradition in philosophy. Philosophers discussed might include Edmund Husserl, Edith Stein, Martin Heidegger, Max Scheler, Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and Maurice Merleau- Ponty.
