Description: Covers identification of toxicants and their sources in the environment; equilibrium partitioning of chemicals between air, water, soil, sediment, and biota using physico-chemical properties; and the transport and transformations of chemicals in air, water, and soil media. Includes case studies of fate and transport of selected toxic chemicals.
