Description: A program of study designed to advise and assist candidates who are preparing for examinations. Repeatable under the following rules: (1) a student may take up to 12 units prior to the award of the M.A.; (2) a student may take up to 24 additional units after award of the M.A. but prior to successful completion of the Ph.D. qualifying examination.
Credit: Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). May be repeated for credit.
