Prerequisites: upper-division standing or at least one lower-division English course (other than composition) or consent of instructor
Description: A study of the life and works of Percy Bysshe Shelley. The course will cover Shelley’s literary production, emphasizing his stylistic development, his philosophic content and his social reference. The poetry will be located in the relevant literary tradition as well as in the social and political developments of the period.
