Description: Surveys American popular culture of the 1950s and 1960s from a sexuality studies perspective. Covers multimedia ranging from pulp novels and comic books to drive-in movies, television sitcoms, rock-and-roll music, and magazine advertisements. Includes relevant historical, critical, and theoretical readings.
