Description: Examines fundamentals of biomolecular ligand binding, enzyme kinetics, enzyme reaction mechanisms, and whole-cell biocatalysis. Topics include the quantitative description of steady state and pre-steady state enzyme kinetics, the effects of mass transfer on enzyme and whole- cell biocatalysis, and analytical methods to study enzyme kinetics and protein-ligand binding interactions.
