The following major requirements apply only to students who, in truly exceptional cases, matriculate into the Thomas Haider Program at the UCR School of Medicine without a UCR bac- calaureate degree. These students are eligible to receive a B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences upon satisfactory completion of the first year of the curriculum leading to the M.D. degree.
