Description: Addresses the basic nuclear properties, as well as the nuclear building blocks and structure. Explores radioactivity, nuclear interactions, the strong force, the confinement and chiral phase transitions, the quantum chromodynamics (QCD) vacuum, and matter at extreme temperatures and densities.
