Prerequisites: consent of instructor

Description: Study and performance of literature for large jazz ensemble and stage band, and preparation of improvised solos. Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a letter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or examination. Course is repeatable.
