Description: Examines human-animal relationships from a feminist perspective. Explores the use of animals as pets, subjects and objects of scientific research, and food sources. Analyzes how these uses relate to the exploitation of women and to feminist ethics. Considers the connections between sexism and speciesism. Credit is awarded for only one of GSST 010 or GSST 010S.
