Description: Examines women’s grassroots activism and organizing within the context of political and social structures, culture, and history at the local and global levels. Employs comparative and global perspectives to understand the diversity of women’s issues and women’s activism. Fulfills the Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
