Description: Examines physical, chemical, and biological evidence of climatic and environmental change throughout the Cenozoic Era (last 65 million years) to provide a framework for understanding natural environmental change and for predicting future change. Introduces students to computer-based numerical methods of data analysis for interpreting past records of environmental change.
