Description: Introduces students to strategies for successful graduate study and early career development. Consists of lectures, discussions and presentations covering research and professional ethics, grant/ fellowship writing, and preparation of technical journal articles. Addresses effective job search skills, including preparation of curriculum vitae, networking, effective oral presentations, and job interviews. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 4 units.
