Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Study of representative literary texts and of current theories about the field. May focus on such topics as Modernism, Postmodernism, regionalism, alternative canons, interrelations among texts, and connections between texts and cultures. Course is repeatable as content changes.
