Description: A comprehensive overview of the multiple functions of ribonucleaic acid (RNA) in the cell. Topics include mRNA, rRNA, and tRNA function and metabolism; RNA catalysis and the “RNA world”; eukaryotic and bacterial non-coding RNAs; and bacterial riboswitches.
