Description: Explores plant biochemistry and the significance of plant metabolites in medicine and pharmacology. Focuses on biotechnology, medicinal plants, and plant-derived drugs as well as the biochemical and pharmacological mode- of-action of secondary plant metabolites. Also addresses plant-specific biochemical processes such as photosynthesis.
