Description: Focuses on intersections between literature and scientific discourse. Considers how popular notions of science inform the production and reading of the literary text. Topics may include the function of power in scientific discourse, the politics of alternative uni- verses, and science and gender. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 8 units.
