Description: Examines religious virtuosi in Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism, including Puu Mi Bun, sufis, swamis, saints, and martyrs. Un- covers the close connection between these religions in terms of ritual technology, soteriological goals, meditative practices, and eschatological articulations.
