Description: Investigates regional colonial encounters with diverse religious traditions. Engages the religious constructions of travelogues, cartography, missionaries, and colonial administrators. Examines religious discourses and products that were influenced by governing policies of colonial domination and produced through a dialectic between colonizer and colonized.
