Description: Provides hands-on computer experience testing phenomena of sensory and per- ceptual psychology. Students perform experiments in vision, hearing, touch, taste, or smell, using computer software. Students also design, perform, and analyze a novel experiment of their choosing. Discusses the theoretical and practical relevance of all experiments. 423 / Programs and Courses assumptions of methods and current research utilizing each method, and on how each is being utilized to address theoretical and empirical questions. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeat- able to a maximum of 9 units if taken with different instructors.
