Description: Congres- sional elections is a growing field of inquiry in Ameri- can electoral politics. Much scholarly debate has been generated over a variety of phenomena in this area. This seminar provides an overview of a number of these controversies and offers students the conceptual framework to critically analyze a rather large body of literature.
