Description: Introduces the ex- periences of immigrants in the southwest borderland region of the U.S. Explores immigration history, trends, and legislation. Examines the immigration policy impact on economic and health indicators as well as the family systems and dynamics. Attention to change strategies used to empower the immigrant community.
