Description: Prereq- uisite(s): graduate standing or consent of instructor. A broad overview of theories and models of urban growth and economic development will be introduced, analyzed and evaluated, as well as the strategies and practices in implementing it. Examines the challenges of developing regions, cities and communities that are economically dynamic, socially equitable and environmentally sustainable.
