Description: Focuses on specific musical concepts and processes as well as broader sociocultural issues related to improvisational performance. Designed for graduate and approved upper-level undergraduate students interested in the scholarly study of music improvisation and contempo- raneous musicality. 383 / Programs and Courses ratory, 3-12 hours. Prerequisite(s): upper-division standing. Research in nematology with the guidance of a Nematology faculty member. A written report is required. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable.
