Description: Uti- lizes film, video, and texts to examine the relationship among gender, mechanization, and shape during the twentieth century. Focuses on the performing arts, industrial and technological design, and the relation- ship of visual culture to changing notions of gender. Course is repeatable. Cross-listed with DNCE 171G. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
