Description: Introduces early modes of cinema produc- tion, distribution, and exhibition. Takes an international perspective in the study of the political economy of si- lent cinema. Examines silent era cinema and industry. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
