Description: Examination of attitudes toward and images of women in diverse religious traditions. Includes issues such as the presence and absence of women in leadership roles; women’s spiritual experiences; female founders of religious groups; and recent developments in feminist religious thought. Cross-listed with RLST 160. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
