Description: Introduces the major themes in the history of U.S. women and gender is- sues. Drawing upon recent work in the field, explores the relationships between gendered meanings of politics and the politics of gender in the late nine- teenth and twentieth centuries in the United States. Cross-listed with HISA 133. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
