Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Explores how law and race shape educational policies, as well as how educational policies and practices shape race and law. Examines how decisions made at the federal, state, and local levels influence public education opportunities and access. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maxi- mum of 12 units.
