Prerequisites: admission to the Education Specialist Credential program
Description: Describes and analyzes the approaches, materials, and practices that enable students with mild/moderate disabilities to gain access to the core curriculum and make progress toward state standards. Emphasizes research-based instructional approaches and discusses ways to support special needs students, including English learners, in main- stream classes. Examines the relationship of IEP goals to state standards.
