Description: Pre- requisite(s): EDUC 211A or equivalent or consent of instructor. Seminar on current issues in cognitive de- velopment. Topics include metacognition, Vygotskian theory, and cultural factors in cognitive development. Special attention will be paid to issues as they relate to the learning and teaching of school subjects.
