Description: Overview of the major empirical and the- oretical bases of educational psychology, followed by detailed analysis of the following topics: (a) cognition and metacognition as applied to school learning and instruction; (b) motivation, student perceptions, teach- er perceptions, classroom processes; (c) effective teaching; and (d) evaluation.
