Description: Prerequi- site(s): graduate standing or consent of instructor. This course is concerned with the economics of agricultural and rural development in developing countries. Topics examined include technical change, sharecropping and interlinked factor markets, migration, poverty and famine, land reform, environmental aspects of rural development, and structural adjustment within agriculture.
