Description: Modern dance technique at the beginning level. Outside-of-class assignments include attending dance concerts, viewing dance videos, and regular individual practice sessions. Recommended for nondancers and danc- ers. Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a letter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or examination. Course is repeatable.
