Prerequisites: second-year standing in medical school or the graduate program in Biomedical Sciences or consent of instructor; BMSC 235

Description: Covers the pathophysiology, pharmacology, physical diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, clinical hematology and oncology, and epidemiology and clinical reasoning skills. Instruction involves weekly cases and is presented through lectures and discovery in small group discus- sions, laboratories, and conferences. Students using this course to fulfill requirements for the Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Schiller
